I've been reading for days about the enormity of water issues in Morocco. Too much to snap shot for you here. Needless to say, however, it's an issue you become very aware of when you spend time in the desert.
These last photos are of hand dug irrigation corridors under the desert that we had a chance to wander around and see the impressive system of tunnels and well shafts that apparently go for miles.
