OK! I worked out my computer issues and I'm ready to get back to it.... I'm excited to finish off the week in Colombia. I've been reading about the culture, both good and bad, looking for design opportunities. Flooding takes a huge toll on the country so designing clean water access and temporary shelter and services or even fortifying infrastructure and architecture to withstand the annual floods seem an obvious place to start. Another challenge is the forced recruitment and displacement of children by armed groups of criminals. Scary to say the least.
